Transplant support and coverage for complex care


Our Institutes of ExcellenceTM network helps members facing a transplant or other major procedure. They get access to facilities with a record of successful treatment. We also have a dedicated claims and member services staff. They can help members get special support for their unique needs. 

National Medical Excellence Program®

The Institutes of Excellence network is part of our National Medical Excellence Program. The program has a full-time medical director and registered nurse case managers. They provide valuable support to members in special and complex situations. Members get:

  • Support through every phase of the transplant process
  • Help finding appropriate emergency care when traveling abroad 
  • Information regarding rare diagnoses that need special treatment
